Great house for my stay in Bremer Bay and as a base for exploring the coast. Janna was very responsive and helpful and check in was easy. The house itself had everything I needed and is located near the post office and general store. Local dive store only a minute away and would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in area.

Such a peaceful and beautiful place to stay if you’re looking for a relaxing holiday. In easy walking distance of the brewery, general store, walk trails and estuary. The accomodation was very clean and well stocked with the basics. The beds were comfortable and the big back yard was great for my little boy to play on. The hosts were very responsive to any questions we had and were helpful and friendly. While we were there the oven was not working and so I let the hosts know. They were quick to respond and came around to check it out for themselves then arranged for an electrician to come and fix it. I was very impressed with how well looked after we were. All in all, an amazing getaway and would highly recommend to anyone headed to Bremer bay

The house was everything we needed and it was clean. It was a lovely location and very quiet. The only downfall was the shower. The showerhead isn’t great and even with the curtain closed the floor outside got completely wet which caused us to slip a few times. Other than that, everything was great 🙂

I mean it’s alright dunno how you can charge so much for no aircon, no coffee facilities other than a kettle The shower is full of calcium so your getting sprayed with needle jets making that unpleasant aswell as the water being so chlorinated it burns your eyes The tv set up is super outdated And if people are staying in the upper apartment all you can hear is kids running around slamming doorsPretty disappointing stay all together

The house was absolutely wonderful. It was clean, very comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and was in a fantastic location that made it easy to get around. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease.
Our group was very happy with the accommodation and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It was the perfect place to come back to after a day out in the field, and we really appreciated how well maintained and thoughtfully set up the house was.
One of the highlights was the resort being only a short two minute walk away through a bush path. It was such a bonus and something we all enjoyed using. It gave us the best of both worlds: peace and privacy at the house while still being so close to the resort.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, well located, and welcoming house.

A very private comfortable relaxing and well equipped property particularly well setup to cater for families with older children (pooltable, table tennis). The views are amazing to watch winter ocean storms from and with a wood fire & underfloor heating the property was very comfortable for our stay. We had a great extended break at this property and would return again.

Lovely comfortable spacious cottage with all the facilities you could want. We were there in winter and it was very cosy. Very short walk to the store. Lots of great walking nearby, we loved seeing the whales jumping. Lots of beaches within a short drive. Bremer Bay is a very laid back place and for us was super quiet. Great internet. We have used the breakaways website and housing a number of times for our trips to Bremer. The houses are always impeccably clean and they are always very accommodating and easy to deal with. The houses are not that more than expensive than the caravan parks. Totally recommend

We stayed at Janna’s place in Bremer Bay for a week while working in the area, and it couldn’t have been better.
The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay after long workdays. It’s in a quiet location but still close to everything in town. Janna was a fantastic host friendly, responsive and thoughtful. Would definitely book again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Bremer Bay!

Our 2 night stay at the cottage was peaceful and relaxing. It had everything myself and my 2 small daughters needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the close proximity to the shops, cafe, playgrounds and Brewery. Also easy clean ups after some afternoons at the various beaches surrounding the area. Loved hearing the rain on the roof during the night and watching the sunrise from the front step. Thank you so much we would love another stay 😄

We really enjoyed our stay at the shack. The place was well equipped and beds clean, comfortable. Shower was piping hot and the kitchen had plenty of utensils which made cooking from home easier.We had a short walk to the local tavern which was nice.Unfortunately some neighbours had some sort of rave till 4am which made us very tired for our stay. Hopefully just a random event and not a regular thing.

The apartment was spotlessly clean with everything a guest needs provided. It's also spacious, bright and so airy, too. And the view from the balcony across to the ocean was just wonderful - pity about the miserable weather on Saturday, though.
The beds are not the best and if I were to stay there again, I'd bring my own pillow. There were no instructions on how to use the television but that mattered little as we were out and about most of the time. Might be an issue for a family with children on a miserable, wet day.
However, overall, a good property in a quiet area.

Place is old and cheaply furnished but clean except for the windows which needed cleaning. Shower was in need of a door as the floor was very wet after use and dangerously slippery. The unit needs air conditioning as the breeze doesn’t always blow from the right direction and at night it was very warm and stuffy.Definite smell of body odor at the bedroom/bathroom doorway.
Very expensive for a unit of its type.

We stayed for 2 weeks and really enjoyed the house, location and it's amenities. The house had a really good beach holiday feel to it and was very comfortable. The top level balcony was terrific and we put our Baby Q up there and cooked dinners and relaxed with a few drinks - a great protected area .

Comfy old cottage. Took us on a journey down memory lane with the old kitchenettes like we had as kids.We only used the beds in main room. Did no cooking or watching TV.Did not use coffee machine, stove, microwave,dishwasher, cutlery or crockery and pots and pans.We were very lucky to get any accomodation in Bremer Bay at the last minute. Everywhere was booked out.Was beyond our budget, but we had no choice as we were booked on the orca cruise pending finding somewhere to stay.Even the once in a lifetime orca adventure was a failure with no sightings after 9 hours on the water!Thanks again Kim . We did enjoy our stay. I’d stay there again if it was less expensive.

The room is clean and tidy, fully furnished with a large kitchen and living room area.Location is excellent, on the corner of the small town of Bremer Bay, within ten minutes from the gas station and restaurants.The check-in is also very convenient.I didn't find shampoo in the bathroom and the host delivered to the door in less than half an hour.There are small bugs that may come in if the windows doors are not tightly closed in time, special attention is needed.

Comfortable accommodation in a good location for us - easy drive to the harbour to catch our orca spotting trip.
Nice touches like some laundry powder supplied, plenty of toilet rolls and kitchen basics like tea, coffee, oil.
The area around the property was very quiet and we saw kangaroos grazing in the bush land opposite - always a bonus!
No air-conditioning in bedrooms - 1 unit in lounge. a fan in the bedrooms would be great.
also the washing line at the rear of house needs fixing. Airer provided is very rickety so difficult to dry items.
It would be nice if the outside space was made more appealing as there is plenty of space. a defined seating area with a table and planting would enhance the experience. the outside table was broken with a base and no top.
these are all minor points for improvement. overall a lovely place to stay and great value

We had a lovely time at this unit in Bremer Bay, where we came to see orcas. The unit was clean and had good basic amenities and it was easy to find and do self check in. Our hot water did run out at one point but the owners got it fixed very quickly so it didn't impact our stay. It would be useful to have a few more things to make it more comfortable, like some lamps on the bedside tables, some more tables in the living room, and a larger blanket to use. But all in all a great stay!
